Once again there was an attempt to hack us. Everything was backedup but it took as a few days to repair some of the core files which were damaged. All good now, but expect some minor bugs.
This sucks
On December 30th a backdoor in our code was found, allowing a hacker to get into the site and do pretty much as they pleased. Their decision to delete all post and most of our database was the most damaging.
No user information such as emails or passwords were leaked.
Unfortunately backups were damaged as well, with only a copy from October surviving. And this is what the site is running on now.
What we lost
- All movies added since October
- All reports since October
- All user registrations since October
- Messages, Points, Comments etc
I’m trying to locate what we’re actually missing in terms of movies, but it’s difficult. For those who have worked hard and contributed to the site for the past three months, I’m sorry.
Thanks for your patience so far. More updates are coming. And yes, it’s going to be very difficult for this to ever happen again.

I’ve managed to scrape and find the most important movies which were removed during the hack. I’ll be spending my weekend trying to add as many as I can, any help appreciated.
