In Joe Penna’s Arctic, which will be making its World Premiere this Thursday, May 10th in the midnight section at the Cannes Film Festival, "Hannibal's" Mads Mikkelsen plays a man stranded in the Arctic is finally about to receive his long-awaited rescue. However, after a tragic accident, his opportunity is lost. He must then decide whether to remain in the relative safety of his camp or to embark on a deadly trek through the unknown for potential salvation. In this first ever clip provided to Bloody Disgusting, Mikkelsen is shown digging deep into the snow. When the camera pulls back it's revealed that he's been carving out a SOS for planes to see.
