The trailer for "Ouvertures" by The Living and the Dead Ensemble, starring Jude Joseph, Jephté Carmil, James Fleurissaint, Rossi Jacques Casimir and Dieuvela Cherestal. Slave rebellions ushered in the Haitian Revolution. This hybrid film is at once a research project on the trail of its leader, an experiment in collective filmmaking and the creation of a magical reality in which the spirits of the dead remain alive.
