Won’t You Be My Neighbor?

In this documentary from director Morgan Neville, the life and legacy of Fred Rogers is put on display. For over three decades he hosted the children’s educational television program “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood”, and was also an outspoken advocate in favor of publicly-funded television, and also for one of the earliest forms of piracy, VCR recording. This film focuses on the impact of the ethics and moral teachings of the most iconic stars in children’s media, featuring an interview with his widow Joanne Rogers.
