Nine Men From Now

Next project of Paul Schrader, writer of films such as "Taxi Driver" or "Raging Bull" and director of recently Academy Award-nominated "First Reformed". Schrader secured financing for the project and will shoot the film this summer. Director described his film rather colourfully: "If you took a script from 1956 that Budd Boetticher made with Randolph Scott, and you asked Terry Malick and David Lynch to come in and take a shit on the script, you would have the movie I’m making," Originally Ethan Hawke from "First Reformed" and Willem Dafoe were supposed to star, but Hawke is no longer attached to the film.
