Description
Coming 2 America is an upcoming romantic comedy movie which is a sequel to the 1988 hit movie Coming to America featuring Eddy Murphy. In the sequel, Murphy will reprise his role of crown prince Akeem Joffer who heads back to America to find his long-lost son. The movie will be directed by Craig Brewer and Kevin Misher and Eddie Murphy will share the producer role.
Jermaine Fowler is also starring in the movie, presumably in the role of Murphy’s royal son. However, it is not confirmed yet whether John Amos, James Earl Jones, or Shari Headley will return from the first movie. The film, delayed a few times due to coronavirus pandemic, was finally sold by Paramount to Amazon and it will skip theatrical release. It will be premiered on Prime in March.
