The Bob’s Burgers Movie

Fox’s Emmy award-winning television series will be making its way to movie theaters in April of 2021. It will be Fox’s first animated film based on a TV show to be released in over a decade. The show centers around the appropriately named restaurant, ‘Bob’s Burgers’, which is owned by Bob and Linda Belcher (H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts). Their only employees are their three children, Tina, Gene, and Louise (Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Kristen Schaal), and the entire family lives in an apartment above the shop. The handyman Teddy (Larry Murphy) and the neighboring mortician Mort (Andy Kindler) are the only regular patrons, as customers are deterred by “Pesto’s Pizzeria” across the street. It’s owner Jimmy Pesto (Jay Johnston) constantly antagonizes Bob, although unbeknownst to him the Belcher kids are regularly caught up in antics with his three sons, Jimmy Jr. and his younger twin brothers Olly and Andy (H. Jon Benjamin, Laura and Sarah Silverman). The other children who attend the local school also feature an outstanding voice cast which includes Aziz Ansari, Molly Shannon, Jim Gaffigan, Jenny Slate, Rachel Dratch, Brian Posehn, Stephanie Beatriz, and David Wain.
