Description
Fans of the Valiant comic series have something to look forward to this year as Sony Pictures is bringing cyborg superhero to life. Vin Diesel will roleplay Ray Garrison, a soldier who is brought back to life as Bloodshot.
Bloodshot is a story of a mortally wounded warrior who is resurrected and given meta-morphing abilities and supernatural powers of regeneration. All this thanks to the Project Rising Spirit program that allows him to interface with computers and heal quickly. Bloodshot is partially self-aware as a result of being a human-machine hybrid. However, he is controlled by an AI program and his handlers after having his memory wiped several times. The movie is supposedly going to feel like a cross between Total Recall, Terminator, and RoboCop.
Bloodshot is directed by Dave Wilson and stars Vin Diesel, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Lamorne Morris, Toby Kebbell, Alex Hernandez, Talulah Riley, Eiza González, Guy Pearce, and Sam Heughan. It will hit theaters on March 13, 2020.
