Alice, Through the Looking

Premiered at POFF festival Talinn Estonia 2021 under first features strand. Satirical comedy inspired by Lewis Carroll's alice books, sardonically narrated by Vanessa Redgrave. When philosophy student Alice (Saskia Axten) loses her new lover (Elijah Rowen) after a warehouse rave, she's flung into a bizarre version of London where the UK has become intensely different and the Queen (Carol Cleveland) is murderous. Meanwhile an Executive Producer (Steven Berkoff) a lecturing director (Adam Donen) and various philosophers, including Slavoj Zizek, speculate and argue over different cuts of the film.
