Description
Next project from Sam Mendes, director of American Beauty, Skyfall and Spectre. is a war drama following two soldiers during World War I. Two main characters will be played by George MacKay and Dean-Charles Chapman. The cast will also include Colin Firth, Mark Strong
Benedict Cumberbatch, Richard Madden and Andrew Scott. The film is shot by Roger Deakins and scored by Mendes regular, Thomas Newman.
1917 is filmed as a long shot which is an extremely difficult filming technique. Even without this gimmick, the film is stacked with quality actors making 1917 a movie that every cinephile would want to see.
