A Prayer Before Dawn

“A Prayer Before Dawn” recounts the remarkable true story of Billy Moore, an English boxer incarcerated in the most unforgiving sevtor of Thailand’s prison system. He struggles to escape the drugs and violence which occur every day, but sees an opportunity to reclaim his dignity when the prison guards enter him in Muay Thai tournaments. Joe Cole stars in a remarkable piece from French director Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire, filmed in a real Thai prison with a cast which predominantly features actual prisoners. A24 will release the film on April 13th, 2018.
